The open-air gallery

Adjacent to the workshop and the studio is an open air gallery that can be visited by appointment. We regularly offer special guided tours (for adults). Topics covered are the porphyry, working processes, working with the stone, the language of form, different kinds of rock, the coming into being of a sculpture, from the sketch pad to three-dimensionality, tools, and much more.

Visits and guided tours are possible by appointment only as the quarry isn't open to the public, and entry without registration is illegal. It can be dangerous for people who don't know the terrain. This is why a visit without previous appointment gets all parties into unpleasant situations which we want to avoid. We hope you'll understand.
